Registration will close 1 hour before the event is set to begin, at that point ESEA rosters cannot be modified for the Open qualifier so please make sure all players/coaches/stand ins are on your roster at that point. Once registration is closed then check-in will begin. Players have until 15 minutes before the event is set to start in order to check-in.

Age restriction: all players have to be 16+ in order to participate in this event.
Publisher bans: Players who have been banned by Valve for cheating or match-fixing are not allowed to participate in this event.
License restrictions: Only one team from each organization can participate in the qualifier. Academies are not allowed as long as the main team is part of the same or another qualifier.
Q - Does ESEA provide live support during the event?
A - Yes, live support will be provided during the event via this Discord: https://discord.gg/ESEA, specifically in the #events-support channel where users should open a ticket by typing "-new [topic]" in order to receive help.
Q - Do we have to buy ESEA Premium in order to participate in this qualifier?
A - No, Free ESEA Premium will be provided automatically for the duration of this qualifier for those who are not Premium/Insider at the time of the event. Premium will be added an hour before the event is set to start
Q - Am I allowed to stream my own POV or broadcast someone else's match?
A - GOTVs will not be available to the public. ESL will release an application process soon regarding how to broadcast the games. For further information follow @ESL and @ESLCS on twitter.
Q - How many pauses can we use during our match?
A - Teams are limited to 4 x 30 secs tactical pauses per match and 2 x 5 mins technical pauses per half. Teams will receive an additional tech pause per each overtime set. After 5 minutes has passed either team can unpause the match. The technical pauses will not accumulate, eg you cannot save 4 pauses till overtime and then stack 5 pauses in a row. However, you can use pauses back to back in the same half.
Q - Is coaching allowed?
A - Yes, teams are able to use the coach feature in event matches. The player acting as a coach must type .coach (before typing .ready) during warmup in the game server. The coach must be on the event roster in order to be a coach on the gameserver.
Q - Can we add someone to our roster after registration is closed?
A - No, rosters will lock at the time of registration closing until the event is complete. Teams may be eligible to add players between days in multi-day tournaments, this will be stated on the event registration page.
Q - Are we allowed to start the game without all 5 players on our team?
A - No, the match can be started only when both teams have 5 players connected to the server.
Q - How long do we have to wait for our opponents to connect to the server and ready up?
A - An admin will state the time when forfeits will be accepted for each round at the beginning of the event. This will vary and may change depending on the size and pace of the event.
Q - Are custom in-game models allowed?
A - Yes, custom in-game models provided by Valve are allowed.
Q - How many rounds will be played today?
A - Unless told otherwise by an administrator matches will be played back to back until the event is complete. Some events may be split up over multiple days and contain multiple different formats. If so this will be posted on the event page."
