ESEA TV Announces Season 16 MOTW

In pasts seasons the ESEA TV team has tried to cast any and all invite matches, often throwing together casts at the eleventh hour. While this allowed us to push out tons of content to our twitch.tv channel it often was at the expense of the quality of our broadcasts. In an attempt to refine our shows and produce better content Season 16 will feature a new single MOTW system.

Every week we'll pick one of the best match ups to be casted on the official ESEA TV stream by casters Matthew "Sadokist" Trivett, Dustin "dusT" Mouret, and Alexandre "Vansilli" Nguyen. The show will follow a structured format. We'll start with a pregame show that will feature analysis, map overview, invite player interviews and a recap of the season so far. Following that we'll jump right into the match with Play by Play casting and Color Commentary with occasional guests casts from past and present invite players. Finally we'll have a quick match recap including an interview with a player from the winning team.

Again, our goal this season is to provide a product of increased quality rather than to flood our channel with sub par content. With that in mind, always feel free to provide comments and criticisms so that we can constantly improve. If the community doesn't enjoy the show, what's the point in doing it?

Another great benefit of this system is that it gives our individual casters a chance to build their own twitch channels. Now that they aren't committed to casting every night on the ESEA channel, our casters can spend time casting more matches on their own channels and being more personable with the community. We're starting off this fresh season, with a team new to invite as Savage takes on Reliable Gaming Canada. Savage is going to be looking to prove themselves as an invite worthy team while RG.ca is looking to bounce back after a season that fell apart when one of their members was banned from ESEA. With both teams looking to prove their might we expect this one to be an exciting match up to start out the season. Please tune in live Sunday night!
