The road to the Qudos Bank Arena begins with the open and closed qualifiers for IEM Sydney 2019. Here are all the important dates aspiring teams need to consider if they wish to join the elite in Australia in May.
Important Information
Registration closes 1 hour before the scheduled start time of each open qualifier. At that point rosters will lock for the open qualifiers and check in will open. Teams have until 20 minutes before the scheduled start time in order to check in.
All participants will be required to join ESEA Discord server for communication purposes with tournament administration. Participants will have to communicate in English with tournament administration. The specific discord for each event will be linked on the event registration page.
Details of EU Open qualifiers
Open Qualifiers Format: Unlimited Single Elimination best-of-one bracket with decider matches being played in best-of-three-mode. Two teams from each open qualifier advance to the closed qualifier. Four invited teams and four qualified teams enter the closed qualifier. The winner qualifies to IEM Sydney.
