Hola, I am Sean Gares of Team DINC. I'm 22 years old and live in Chandler, Arizona. I'm a full-time student at Arizona State University majoring in Medicinal Biochemistry.
How I got Started:
Throughout my childhood I was always into console games, but mainly stuck to sports games or shooters. I really seemed to get into gaming when Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were released for the N64. Prior to CS I only played console games, and I've actually never really played any other computer games (unless you count Carmen Sandiego).
I got my start in CS after I was introduced to the game by a friend's brother. I started playing around nine years ago when I was still living in Wisconsin and about a year later I moved to Arizona. I began playing heavily over summer when I had nothing better to do. For years and years I spent all my time with local Arizona teams such as Warzone Gaming, Elite PC, AzDD, Phoenix Connection, and GGNR. When GGNR died in the first season of ESEA-I, I was asked to join Ruins and accepted their offer. Upon joining Ruins, we went undefeated and won ESEA-M and were moved up to ESEA-I.

I then seemed to come onto the radar after the ESEA-I season and LAN playoffs where we had a decent showing as eMg. After taking some time off I came back this past season with Ruins and got a lot of experience at Arbalet versus international teams playing lions, SK, and mTw in our second group. The team then began to have internal problems, and I decided to move on and join Loaded. We've slowly been getting into a groove and it finally showed at IEM where we took down coL on train, and actually should have knocked them out of the tournament on dust2, but failed to win a crucial ECO round late in the match. Looking ahead we feel confident that it's only a matter of time before we are a major contender in the international counter-strike scene.
On How I Play:
I like to think of myself as one of the more aggressive AWPers in the US. Lately, I've been trying to keep my aggressive play in addition to adding a passive dimension to my game. Playing with Steno has made me aware of many essential things that I've overlooked throughout the years and I'm doing my best to adjust accordingly.
If I were to sum up my team in one word I’d say that my team is pretty awesome. I'm the guy on the team who just laughs at everything and is always in a good mood. If it wasn't for me I think the clowns on my team would go through some crisis because there's no one to laugh at their jokes. Haha jkjk :D On a serious note, I really think we have a great mix of players.
Lurking in the NY Shadows
Steno is our leader, and is always on the grind trying to make us a better team. However, When we're not in matches, he can just be so ridiculous... he just goes on trolling rampages and talks in ridiculous accents. Pauly is the teams fragger, and we can always rely on him to single-handedly win us a few rounds a match. Many people in the community think of Pauly as quiet and conservative, but he's actually quite loud and a huge motivator for us on LAN as seen in many of the winout.netclips where he's screaming at the top of his lungs! Scott is our aggressive rifler/AWPer and literally has the best aim I've seen in all my years of CS. This guy is pretty hilarious and contrary to his bad rep he's got over the years, he's a really cool guy to hang out with. Doni is our smartest player and is always setting himself up strategically to take out multiple opponents. Outside of CS, Doni is the joker of the team and is CONSTANTLY trolling... watch out.
Life Outside of CS:
I'm currently enrolled in 18 hours this semester, so school takes up a large portion of my time as of late. When I'm not in school I'm either working or at the gym. I work about 20 hours a week, and try to go to the gym 4-5 days a week. Lately, I've been trying to play basketball every Saturday with some friends at the gym. Oh, and Sunday I watch football games all day!
Massive shout-outs to my family - Gorgeous wife Jessica Meier, and straight A student/son David Cho. Also to DINC and everyone who helped me get here! Thanks to all the fans that have followed my progression and continue to support DINC!
